Weather-Related Emergency Information

View announcement and district notification procedures in the  "Snow and Icy Weather" bulletin which can be downloaded from the "Various Documents" webpage of this website.

Northshore policy states that any time schools are closed due to bad weather, there will be no after-school activities, including athletic events. If the start of the school day is delayed, the status of after-school activities, including athletic events, will be evaluated during the day and posted at the top of the district's homepage, www.nsd.org.
Head Start at Kenmore

Head Start helps children get ready for school. Our program at Kenmore Elementary is a FREE, part-day pre-school program for 3 and 4 year olds. To qualify, your family must meet income guidelines.

If you would like to speak with someone about our program, please call Linda Yee at 425-408-4861. Interpreters are available. Feel free to leave a message in your home language. Applications are also available in the Kenmore Elementary school office.

School and Community Fliers
Interested in Cub Scouts, Brownies, Little League, or other community organizations? Fliers with information about non-profit community organizations and their programs are posted on the Northshore School District website instead of being sent home with students. Fliers with school or PTA information may still be distributed on paper.

Subscribe to the district's "Approved Fliers" webpage to receive an email alert each time a new flier is posted. To subscribe, go to that webpage , click on the "subscribe to this page" link at the bottom of  that webpage , and follow the directions.  You can unsubscribe at any time.

Remember, community fliers are no longer sent home with your student.
Paw Prints Subscriptions
If you would like to subscribe to Kenmore  Elementary's Paw Prints, send an email to KELParents-join@lists.nsd.org . A confirmation message will be sent to your email address. Do a simple reply to that message and you will be added to the list.

You can cancel your subscription at any time by sending an email to KELParents-leave@lists.nsd.org and replying to the confirmation message that is sent.

If you do NOT have access to the internet, your student can pick up a copy of the newsletter in the school office.
